NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING MEETING

The City of Salina's Community and Development Services Department is encouraging individuals to provide them with additional feedback pertaining to neighborhood improvement and housing in Salina.

Individuals can provide their feedback by attending an informative come-and-go session tonight at Meadowlark Elementary School, 2200 Glen Avenue, from 5:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Individuals unable to attend may watch the session live and ask questions by visiting the City of Salina’s Livestream account at
http://new.livestream.com/accounts/12333740/events/3860763.

Through March 31, the City will continue to accept Live Salina surveys. Individuals who complete the survey will get entered into a contest for a chance to win two round-trip tickets from SeaPort Airlines. The brief surveys can be completed one of three ways: by visiting
salina-ks.gov, texting MY VIEW to 81680, or in-person at the Community and Development Services Department located in the City-County building, 300 W. Ash. Since last December, nearly 900 citizens have completed the survey.

Feedback from community members will assist in the development of Salina’s strategic housing plan. Once complete, the plan will serve as a guidebook for policymakers and housing developers in their efforts to sustain a healthy and functioning housing market in Salina.
