(Salina, KS 06-16) Salina Arts & Humanities, in collaboration with downtown stakeholders, presents Friday Night Live---an entertainment series that began May 6, 2016. Friday Night Live is a series of programming for Salina residents and visitors designed to increase attendance and participation in arts-related events and to strengthen partnerships with local business owners in the downtown arts district.

On Friday, June 17, the featured Friday Night Live concert performer is the band Squirrelcage of McPherson. Squirrelcage will play at Campbell Plaza, 123.S Santa Fe Street, from 7 to 8:30pm. Dubbing themselves as “Dad-rock,” Squirrelcage plays original tunes mixed with covers of well-loved favorites from the ‘90s appropriate for the whole family. You are encouraged to bring your father out for an evening of music and fun. Directly following the free concert is an outdoor screening of the classic family movie The Goonies, also at Campbell Plaza, sponsored by Salina Downtown, Inc.

There will be Snow Wizard on-site as well as snacks including popcorn and cotton candy available for purchase for a nominal charge.
