YOUTH CITIZEN BOARDS’ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

  The City of Salina is currently accepting expression of interest forms from youth members between the age of 15-20 attending secondary and post-secondary school for vacancies that currently or will soon exist on the following citizen boards, commissions and committees:

• Accessibility Advisory Board
  • Youth Member (2)
• Animal Control Advisory & Appeals Board
  • Youth Member (2)
• Arts & Humanities Commission
  • Youth Member (2)
• Board of Zoning Appeals
  • Youth Member (2)
• Heritage Commission
  • Youth Member (2)
• Human Relations Commission
  • Youth Member (1)
• Park & Recreation Advisory Board
  • Youth Member (1)
• Planning Commission
  • Youth Member (1)
• Solid Waste Management Committee
  • Youth Member (2)
• Tree Advisory Board
  • Youth Member (2)

If you are interested in serving the community by becoming a member of one of these boards, commissions or committees, you are asked to complete an expression-of-interest form from the City of Salina website, www.salina-ks.gov, and click on “City Government” then “Boards & Commissions” or by visiting the City Clerk’s Office, 300 W.
