ORDINANCE NUMBER 19-11012

AN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST CERTAIN LOTS AND PIECES OF PROPERTY TO PAY THE COST OF ABATEMENT OF NUISANCES ON CERTAIN LOTS AND PARTS OF LOTS AND THE PARKWAYS ABUTTING THEREON IN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.

WHEREAS, the Code Enforcement Officer of the City of Salina, Kansas, caused to be notified the owner of the property herein described, to cause such nuisances to be removed; and

WHEREAS, the owner of the property hereinafter described, after proper notice, did not remove such nuisance in accordance with Section 24-5 of the Salina Code, and the cost thereof has been ascertained, SO NOW, THEREFORE

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:

 

Section 1.   There is hereby levied and assessed against each of the tracts of real estate described below, an assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of removal of nuisances from the real estate taxable against each tract of real estate in the amount corresponding with each parcel number and legal description, as follows:

Ordinance No. 19-11012 Summary

On August 19, 2019, the City of Salina, Kansas, passed Ordinance No. 19-11012.  The ordinance levies special assessments to pay to cost of abatement of nuisances against certain pieces of property within the city limits.  A complete copy of the ordinance is available at www.salina-ks.gov or in the office of the city clerk, 300 W. Section 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication by summary once in the official city newspaper.
