Folk Artists Tim & Sarah Crews
Perform at May 16 Art a la Carte

The Art a la Carte concert series on Friday, May 16th, will feature folk duo Tim and Sarah Crews. The half-hour performances begin at 12:20 p.m. each Friday and are held at Campbell Plaza in the 100 block of South Santa Fe.

For more than 20 years, Tim and Sarah Crews have entertained audiences with their own version of folk; from Colorado to upstate New York to Hawaii to the American Southwest.  They bring to the stage a collection of music reflecting many dimensions of life’s journey. Sarah’s songwriting has been described as “personal, honest and unguarded.” The duo’s musical arrangements feature Tim’s delectable mandolin interludes. Tim and Sarah often can be found entertaining during First Thursday Art Rush events at the Salina Art Center, where they have been affectionately dubbed the “House Band.”

In inclement weather, Art a la Carte performances are held at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts, 151 S. Santa Fe.

For needed accommodations, please call Kathy Burlew at Salina Arts & Humanities at 785-309-5770 between 8:00 a.m. - Noon and 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.  Every effort will be made to accommodate known disabilities.  For material or speech access, please call at least five working days prior to the event.
